Public Things Network

The precarious state of the planet urgently requires new forms of social, collective, and shared resources. Public Things Network is a collection of furniture, scooters, and other public amenities that explore a space outside of ownership and capital.

This project builds on an ongoing project of reimagining shared, public spaces and amenities. Our studio has used the color pink to produce a series of projects which bring commons to otherwise privatized urban environments. This pink is also been used in our projects to claim abandoned buildings, fix broken public amenities, and in other ways care for our neighborhood.
